Cardinals Winter League Notebook 11-27-13: Jermaine Curtis Collects Two Singles & Three RBIs; Ronny Gil Singles Twice; Jose Godoy Drives In One Run

Notes:
Culiacan activated Cuban defector Aledmys Diaz, who had been playing for Cordoba in the Veracruz League.  He played in 15 games going 9-for-44 (.205) with one double, one RBI, eight runs, two walks, two hit by pitches, one sacrifice, nine strikeouts, .271 OBA, .227 SLG, and .498 OPS. St. Louis, Minnesota, Oakland, and a handful of other teams are expected to be scouting Diaz.

Jaime Garcia (St. Louis-Hermosillo) threw out the first pitch before Hermosillo-Guasave game and signed autographs after.
