Cardinals Winter League Notebook 2-5-2020: Cesar Valera Doubles & Drives In Two Runs; Hector Hernandez Strikes Out Five & Allows Two Runs Over Five & A Third Innings; Pedro Echemendia Retires One Batter & Holds Three Inherited Runners On Base

Caribbean Series:

Cesar Valera (former Palm Beach-Lara) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  1-for-4 with one double, two two-out RBIs, and assisted in one double play.

Pedro Echemendia (former Memphis-Monteria) entered in the eighth and pitched to one batter.  He allowed no hits or runs.  (p-s:5-3)(g/f:1-0)(ir-s:3-0)
