Cardinals Winter League Notebook 10-12-13: Stephen Piscotty Doubles; Jacob Wilson Reachs On Hit By Pitch; Sam Gaviglio Strikes Out Three & Allows Three Runs Over Four Innings

Arizona Fall League

Stephen Piscotty (Springfield-Salt River) Started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  1-for-4 with one double and two strikeouts.
Jacob Wilson (Palm Beach-Salt River) started at at second base and batted seventh.  0-for-3 with one hit by pitch, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.
Sam Gaviglio started and pitched four innings.  He allowed six hits, three earned runs, one home run, one walk, and struck three out.  (p-s:68-45)(g/f:5-1)
