Cardinals Winter League Notebook 11-1-19: Justin Williams Singles Twice, Walks, & Drives In One Run; Niko Vasquez Doubles & Knocks In One Run; Chris Ellis Strikes Out One Over One Hitless/Scoreless Inning For The Win

Mexican Pacific League:

Justin Williams (Memphis-Mexicali) started in right field and batted third.  2-for-3 with one RBI and one walk.
Xavier Scruggs (former St. Louis-Mexicali) started at first base and batted fifth.  1-for-3 with one run, one walk, grounded into one double play, and assisted in one double play.
Trevor Megill (former 2014 draft selection-Mexicali) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, one walk, and struck two out for the save (3).  (p-s:17-11)(g/f:1-0)

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Obregon) entered late in the game at catcher and batted ninth.  0-for-1 with one ground into double play.
