Cardinals Winter League Notebook 1-30-13

Venezuelan League Championship


Cesar Izturis (former St. Louis-Lara) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  0-for-3 with one strikeout and assisted in two double plays.

Victor Marte (St. Louis-Magallanes) entered in the sixth and pitched two innings.  He allowed one hit, one earned run, threw one wild pitch, and struck two out. (g/f:2-2)
