Cardinals Winter League Notebook 1-8-13

Venezuelan League Round Robin


Victor Marte (St. Louis-Magallanes) entered in the seventh and pitched to six batters.  He allowed four hits, four earned runs, and one intentional walk. (ir-s:1-1)

Joe Thurston (former St. Louis-Lara) started in left field and batted seventh.  1-for-4 at the plate.

Puerto Rican League Playoffs

Felipe Lopez (former St. Louis-Carolina) started at third base and moved to first, batting sixth.  3-for-5 with one strikeout.
