Cardinals Winter League Notebook 11-21-15: Eliezer Alfonzo Collects Three Singles, One Double, & Three RBIs; Breyvic Valera Collects Two Singles & Two RBIs; Heath Wyatt Strikes Out Two Of Three Batters Faced



Venezuelan League:

Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Margarita) started as designated hitter and batted second.  4-for-5 with one double, three RBIs, and two runs.
Breyvic Valera (Springfield-Margarita) started at third base and batted fifth.  2-for-3 with two RBIs (one w/two-outs), one walk, and one stolen base.
Justin Wright (Memphis-Margarita) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out.  (p-s:7-6)(g/f:2-0)

Cesar Valera (former Palm Beach-Caribes) started at second base and batted ninth.  0-for-4 with one strikeout and assisted in one double play.
