Cardinals Winter League Notebook 12-29-16: J.C. Romero Extended His Scoreless Streak To 21.1 Innings & Earned The Win; Breyvic Valera Sets Team Single-Season Record In Hits; Carlos Martinez Could Launch In January In LIDOM



Venezuelan League:

Jose Martinez (former Springfield-Magallanes) entered late in the game at second base.
Ronny Cedeno (former MLB signing-Magallanes) started at shortstop and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with one strikeout and assisted in one double play.
