Cardinals Winter League Notebook 11-3-17: Max Scherzer Inducted Into The Arizona Fall League Hall Of Fame; Cesar Valera Singles Twice, Doubles, & Drives In Three Runs; Carlos Talavera Singles, Triples, & Knocks In Three Runs



Arizona Fall League:

Peter Mooney (former 2010 draft selection-Salt River) started at second base and moved to shortstop, batting eighth.  2-for-4 at the plate.

Charlie Tilson (former Memphis-Glendale) started in cenerfield and batted leadoff.  0-for-4 with one walk and one strikeout.

Oscar Mercado (Springfield-Surprise) started in left field and batted second.  0-for-3 with one RBI, one walk, one sac fly, and one strikeout.
Edmundo Sosa (Palm Beach-Surprise) entered late in the game at third base.

Ian Rice (former 2012 draft selection-Mesa) statted at first base and batted ninth.  0-for-4 with one strikeout and assisted in one double play.
