Cardinals Winter League Notebook 12-11-14: Edmundo Sosa & Jonathan Rivera Set To Play In Panama; Jose Martinez Collects Two Singles & Three RBIs; Justin Christian Singles & Drives In Three Runs




Venezuelan League

Breyvic Valera (Springfield-Margarita) started at second base and batted leadoff.  1-for-4 at the plate.
David Peralta (former Johnson City-Margarita) started in right field and batted third.  2-for-4 with one strikeout.
Eliezer Alfonso (former Peoria-Margarita) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  0-for-3 with two runs, one walk, and grounded into one double play.
