Cardinals Winter League Notebook 10-20-16: Matt Holliday Inducted Into Arizona Fall League Hall Of Fame; Eliezer Alfonzo Singles & Hits A Three-Run Homer; Breyvic Valera Singles, Walks, & Hits A Two-Run Homer



Venezuelan League:

Breyvic Valera (Memphis-Margarita) started in centerfield and moved to left, batting second.  2-for-4 with one home run, two RBIs, one run, and one walk.
Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Margarita) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  2-for-4 with one home run, three RBIs, one run, and one strikeout.

Ildemaro Vargas (former Palm Beach-Lara) started at second base and batted leadoff.  0-for-4 with one strikeout and assisted in one double play.
