Cardinals Winter League Notebook 10-22-16: Kyle Grana Strikes Out Two Of Three Batters Faced; Breyvic Valera Doubles Twice & Drives In One Run; Tony Cruz Collects Three Singles & One RBI



Nicaragua Summer League Championship:

Edgard Montiel (former DSL-Boer) started at third base and batted third.  Singled and struck out at the plate.  Dantos beat Boer 3-2: La Prensa and La Prensa.  Dantos leads series 3-1.


Venezuelan League:

Breyvic Valera (Memphis-Margarita) started in centerfield and moved to left, batting leadoff.   2-for-4 with two double, one RBI, and one sac fly.
Eliezer Alfonzo (former Peoria-Margarita) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  1-for-4 with one run and one strikeout.

Ronny Cedeno (former MLB signing-Magallanes) started at third base and batted seventh.  0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
