Venezuelan League Championship

Ronny Cedeno (former St. Louis-Magallanes) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  1-for-4 with one stolen base, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Pedro Rodriguez (former MiLB signing-Caribes) entered in the eighth and pitched 1.1 innings.  He allowed one hi, two unearned runs, one home run, and struck one out.  (p-s:17-12)(g/f:3-1)(ir-s:3-3)

Magallanes wins the championship series 4-1 and will represent Venezuela in the Caribbean Series.


Mexican Pacific League Championship

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Hermosillo) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  1-for-5 with one strikeout.
Dennys Reyes (former St. Louis-Hermosillo) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit, no runs, and two walks.  (p-s:26-13)(g/f:2-0)

Evan MacLane (former St. Louis-Escogido) started and pitched six innings.  He allowed two hits, two runs (one earned), one home run, one walk, hit one batter, and struck six out.  (p-s:85-62)(g/f:6-4)

Victor Marte (St. Louis free agent-Licey) entered in the seventh and pitched to three batters.  He allowed one hit and no runs for the winning decision (2-1).  (p-s:12-8)(ir-s:2-0)

Puerto Rican League

Notes:
Joel Pineiro (former St. Louis-Ponce), Tyler Herron (former Springfield-Mayaguez), Randy Ruiz (former MiLB signing-Mayaguez), and Anthony Garcia (Palm Beach-Carolina) will be included on the Mayaguez roster: El Nuevo Dia

Ruben Gotay (former Memphis-Carolina/Mayaguez) and Luis Montanez (former Memphis-Mayaguez) were unhappy they were left off the roster: El Nuevo Dia


California Winter League

Wilfrido Pujols (former Johnson City-Palm Desert) started as designated hitter and batted ninth.  0-for-2 at the plate.
